Needed to redo Tami's profile since I'm redoing all of the ones from my little group of highschool characters xD For now I've found a medium of digital coloring that I think goes well with my artwork though it takes awhile. This is the way I used to color on Paint long before I was one here and of course my results didn't look anywhere near this but it was nice to see a coloring style that I could sort of understand and pick up without any trouble.
I checked out a lineart tutorial by ~doranobaka for the lineart job since I'm so sick of my lineart looking bad. The technique took awhile but I think I got a good result. I actually figured out how to use mask layers thanks to the tutorial xD I was wondering how I should color the picture when I noticed that at the end of her tutorial there was her finished product and I liked the style so much that I tried to imitate it xD
I recently recieved a comment that my people's skin looked dead so I used a darker and more vibrant color to shade it rather than using the darken brush. I totally dropped that cheap tool and just used darker shades of the base colors to add shading and lighter colors for highlights. Then I colored the lineart to make it blend better x3 It's abit messy but this was only my first! I was so happy when I got this done last night! I was all like "I think I'm ready to take commissions now" Thats just old arrogant me I guess but I felt like I'd really taken a step forward with this! But then her eyes got screwed o.o they looked bad on the sketch but worse on the computer and I redrew them (after shading her face
) but they didn't get any better. so just enjoy the other shading.
I feel like everytime I submit something I get beat down. Thus I get mad and want to shove it in the person whom criticed me's face xD I know that sounds horrible. But since I was told that my shading style was "cheap"I screwed it and got a new one
so yeah. This is what you guys get when I get mad xD I spent hours on this people! So be nice 833 I hope you like Tami's new accessories and her hair changed abit plus she's got green converse shoes! lol

I think i might add backgrounds to my charrie profiles, they would look so much better. Wow annie, i bounce off of you.
Awww looked dead, haha what a strange comment, but whatever if it helps you to improve.
The hands are just perfect, you know i could stare at this for ages, i keep spotting details i did not see before, and thats a great thing!
I think the reason the eyes look strange is because the hair line is too far up the head. Well maybe i dont know. I love those shoes!!! I want them!!!

You should 8D I have alot of fun with my little bgs and I think they make the profiles stand out alot more, plus I use the colors and the brushes to give examples of their personalities x3 lol that was exactly what the person said...I was like o.o umm okay? xD I was so mean though cus I was like I would like it if I didn't recieve critic on this piece and then she was like "ohhh since you said you didn't want critic then I'm gonna critic it" 8O I know she was just trying to help but when I person asks for no critic I dont think critic should be given. Whatever her making me mad made me get better xD

Thanks for the tip on the face, I might go see if I can mess around alittle with that in paintshop, maybe add some more hair to her forehead. I want them too ;__; I need some converse xD and I'm saying that when I got two pairs of new shoes yesterday. I'm so ungrateful. But its hard to find converse shoes that dont look too cheap o.o My next character that I'm making a profile (Bridgett) has my shoes lol I love drawing shoes for some reason! I just like giving um nice detail 8333
If you want critic to make you mad like me than post your stuff on the gaia forum o.o but its scarey. But it will make you mad I garantee xD

I have already done Trudge's now, looks so much better! Yeah and yours match!!! Which is so cool! I need to download some new brushes or something, ive downloaded a bunch of funky fonts, but thats about it.
Hahaha cheek!!! Yeah exactly, hmmm maybe they didnt read it or something. Im crap at penning hands, i suck at it, i always mess them up, they look ok in the sketch and then i line them and i dont know were i went wrong!
Hahaha i only have one pair of trainers!!! I really want some converse but my mum is all like "No you will ruin them, they will fall apart." Nooooo! Im crappy at shoes, feet are probably one of the hardest parts for me, but you rock at them!

The funny thing is when I pen my characters fingers and hands I usually have the tolerance of the pen tool set really high so my lines look really bad and I get all made because I dont even notice it xD so like after penning a few other things I'm like "ohh the pen tolerance was too high o.o *faints*" its quite funny. Yeah my sketches always look so beatiful and then I pen them and I'm like "did I relaly draw this?" xD
My sissy has converse *steals rami's converse* They do fall apart easy but she's had hers for awhile I guess. I'll get myself some nice one someday then I'll wear um with some really cute skirt and some striped socks!It'll be awesome 8D Feet aren't very fun for me but designing the shoes is! If you've ever seen the manga "yugioh" it would freak you out because the charactes shoes has so much detail! They even brand symbols and stuff on them xD I can't see how someone could draw all those little details on one little shoe! It would kill me! But I like giving them some detail like Bridgett has strawberries on her shoes and little bows on the sides. That not that much detail. Just enough to make um cute 833

Yup i do that haha, i wish i could just submit my sketch book and people would love me haha! Nah i like colouring but i hate lining.
Wow striped socks and everything!! Now i would do that but i would HAVE to wear odd socks, i dont like wearing matching ones anymore, and i would look stupid. I watched it once, its on TV every now and again so i will look out for it and stare at their shoes. wow strawberries! Cool! Cant wait to see that!
